Weekly whiskey review:
This week’s Whiskey Wednesday Review is the Cognac distilled Brenne French Single Malt Whisky Estate Cask. It’s an entirely new idea for whisky. And frankly, it’s about time!

News story of the week:
When Blair Bowman started ‘World Whisky Day’ last year I bet he had no idea that it would catch on so quickly. It seems like every time I’ve looked at Whisky news this week, there was Blair Bowman either talking about World Whisky Day or he was being talked about. Way to go, Blair!

Whiskey product of the week:
Sure, you can put whisky (fine…and other spirits) in a standard flask or even a thermos. But that’s boring! Stanley stepped in and made a cool alternative. With its clean lines and classic green color you’re sure to be the envy of the campsite/game/cookout.

Recipe of the week:
Now that the weather is getting warmer, it’s time to start looking at more interesting and tastier ways of cooling down. The Risky Whiskey is about as good as it gets right now. “I don’t always drink mixed drinks, but when I do…it’s got whisky in it!”

Random coolness:
Who doesn’t want to look smart? Most homes in America have a TV room but fewer and fewer have a library. Well, here’s a way you could at least look smart. Library wallpaper? Ugh. What’s this world coming to?
