Whiskey Wednesday Roundtable No. 4

by Ernie Ayres on January 1, 2013

Welcome to the Whiskey Wednesday Roundtable number 4. This week we have a little fire, caramel, and Star Wars!

1. Whiskey Wednesday Review:
Our whisky review this week was of the inexpensive Macgavin’s Islay Single Malt Whisky. This is a good whiskey if you are just getting into the peaty Islay scotches.

2. Interesting news story this week:
Barrel burning for the Tar Barl Festival in Allendale. Guys carrying fire in used whiskey casks on their heads? What could possibly go wrong?!
via BBC News

3. Our favorite whiskey related product of the week:
Have you ever wanted to make your own, uh… fuel? Yeah, that’s it! Fuel!
via California Copper Creations

4. Recipe of the week:
Salted Whiskey Caramels. Enough said.
via SheKnows

5. Random coolness:
Who isn’t a Star Wars fan? If you ever wanted to geek out about something, this is it! The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force [Vault Edition] And if you wanted to send one my way…that would be cool.
via Amazon
