Whiskey Wednesday Roundtable No. 17

From a Glenrothes triple review to super nano-copters, this week’s Whiskey Wednesday Roundtable has it all.

1. Whiskey Wednesday Review:
This week the review is a triple play. The Glenrothes 1998, 1995 and 1988 reviewed.

2. Interesting news story this week:
It’s obvious that if you’re in a smoky bar, that will affect the taste of just about anything you’re drinking. However, recent research suggests that the
color of the room will nudge you in a specific direction as well.

3. Favorite whiskey related product of the week:
So it’s not really a “product”. It’s a vacation. A vacation worthy for a king! Whiskey dinner then a boat sleepover. And that boat just happens to be the Queen Mary. Bring your toothbrush!

4. Recipe of the week:
One of the few mixed drinks that I like is a made from scratch Whiskey Sour. Here’s a twist on that that I really want to try. A Burnt Whiskey Sour.

5. Random coolness:
Remote helicopters have gotten very popular over the last few years. And with that new found popularity, it seems that everyone is trying to outdoor each other. Well friends, I think I just found the winner.
